Introduction

This Privacy Statement relates to the processing of personal data of visitors to the website www.vds-automation.nl (hereinafter: VDS, we, us or our). If you do not receive a timely response to your request or if your request is denied, you can lodge an objection by emailing info@vds-automation.nl. You also always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or to initiate legal proceedings.

Provision of personal data to third parties

We may share visitors’ personal data with:

  • Clients, partners or customers of VDS;

  • Companies within the group to which VDS belongs (if applicable);

  • Service providers engaged to provide services on behalf of or by order of VDS;

  • Third parties, including regulators, the Tax and Customs Administration, or other authorities where legally required.

With third parties that process personal data on our behalf, we conclude a data processing agreement (or comparable agreement) to ensure an adequate level of security and confidentiality of the personal data.

Retention period

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, unless we are legally obliged to retain data for a longer period. After the statutory or agreed retention periods expire, we delete or anonymize this data.
