Junior BI Consultant
Do you want to help organizations get more value from their data and develop yourself into a fully-fledged BI Consultant? At VDS Automation we are looking for a Junior BI Consultant who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to modern data solutions within the Microsoft platform.
You will work with experienced colleagues on various projects and have the opportunity to develop your skills in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure. Step by step, you will learn how to translate data into clear insights and how to assist clients in making better, data-driven decisions.
You will work hybrid: partly remote, partly from our office in Leeuwarden (directly opposite the station) and sometimes on-site at clients. You will be intensively guided by colleagues and receive a clear growth path so that you can develop both technically and personally.

What are you going to do?
As a Junior BI Consultant, you will work with colleagues on data and BI projects for our clients. You:
Assist in building and improving dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Contribute to modeling, unlocking, and analyzing data.
Support the setup and maintenance of data platforms in Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Analyze business processes together with colleagues and translate these into data solutions.
Learn programming in languages such as Python and SQL.
Learn to work with tools like Power BI, Azure, and (where applicable) Power Apps and Power Automate.
Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and continue to develop yourself in data & cloud.
You will have the space and responsibility to manage your own projects.
